Walnut Live Edge Sofa Table with Green Epoxy Highlights

Rocket Science Customs is pleased to share this recently completed Live-Edge Handmade Solid Walnut Sofa Table. The rugged piece is constructed in a contemporary industrial style and would look great in any variety of living spaces. This elegant table features a 2" live edge slab that has been mounted to display the edge bark that has been highlighted with translucent Okinawa Green epoxy. The slab is mounted upon steel hairpin legs and sits 32" high to the table top. The top slab measures 4 feet long and 14" wide and framed out with custom fabricated steel end channels. The end caps have been Tig brazed and then spot heat treated to bring out a burned purple/blue/straw coloring of the metal. The ends are finally finished with a diamond clear coating. The walnut slab has been rubbed with a light tung oil penetrant, coated with multiple layers of a minwax paste wax and then polished to a high satin sheen.
